They ARE greyhound trees! How brilliant of you to think of this! Graceful, light and whippy. My favourite tree :0) Have you heard the rhyme

I enjoyed this! Particularly as it is just the sort of thing I would have done with my dog. And then worried about him on the broken glass etc. A great way to go to another world.
I like "have basked in the radiance of ignorance" (having come in from sitting in the sunshine, too bright on my book to read. Just sit there and, well, BASK)
I love the idea of them drinking dawn light, too! They make me jump out of my skin in the woods, as they wait till I almost trip over them before running off :0)
This was a wonderful one. I love the bit about him saying not to swat the fly as it was his friend :0) I am very glad it is pod as I had missed it, and it cheered me up lots
It worked for me too! The rhymes helped with the reassuring feel because after the first time i hoped for them, and they happened. The like icon seems very inadequate
