Clouds are aglow from the far side
of sun’s surrounding dim,
hill a backdrop for one last wink
from evening’s squint. Morning trawlers
will soon prowl as pussycats,
destination codfish, where a reunion
of sea gulls expect to proclaim
their share. Boats are anxious on
ocean’s gentle swells.
