Friendship is

a chorus of musical notes
ascending as
footsteps from a Loon
to its mate, audience of tired sun
blinking one last peek

fields overcome by
a blanket of mist, milky tendrils
aroused into freedom

deer pause within the
dance
sky calm, darkness comes,
rabbits at play

love begins.

I love to write about Nature. It's more than trees, scratchy rasberry bushes, swamp and bugs. It's a place to relax, to contemplate our place in the universe. A chance to reflect on past actions, decisions to be made and hopefully after a prayer, promise oneself to change and be a better person. RLP
