Flutter me not,
I am not blessed
with comelitude.
Flatten not your
eyelashes in
co-kettery.
You are splendicious
in pompellery:
your dermatism
as smooth as silkworms.
The labiary
of your orifount
full in deepest
illusticity.
Cover me with
caressingment
full osculant,
while I extirpilate
from love.

Well, Ewan, I think you did

Well, Ewan, I think you did more than 'have a go' here. An amusing poem that I can identify with. Mrs. Malaprop herself - that's me:-)
Cleverly written. Enjoyed.

Very good this, very clever,
Very good this, very clever, I have a friend who I swear was the blueprint for Mrs Malaprop in a former life. She cracks me up. Often wanted to write a poem about her but I fear it would mean the end of our friendship if I did, she's very sensitive. Bless her. (-; Val
