Reflection on a box of letters

On Reflection - you loved me
Apparently,
"We are whirling rainbows round each other lover.
Rays of every shade
Streamline every curve and shape
And shooting beams gleam and shine
In all the darkest places..."
On Rejection - you loved me
Apparently,
"Artistry has a madness in it's magic lover.
A day mixing shade
Paints a tapestry so bright tricked
As light's own alchemy
Mix our electric faces."
On Betrayal - you loved me
Apparently,
"We are whirling rainbows round each other lover.
Let's illuminate:
For illusions brightest hue
Is my clarity for you
Straight light faces your dark face."
On Trust - you loved me
Apparently,
"We are learning Rainbow sound and colour lover,
Listening to shade
Paint tones to shape each other,
Hearing our reflection made
From the light of each ones face."
On Reflection - i loved you
Apparently,
"Clarity? I feel translucent with you -
Not opaque - no tremors, no shakes
I see through you, though something's shady here...
A veil, a glaze, a tint...
I feel a shiver - tincture glints
And colour enough to make a mixture
Crystalline?
Not clear. Enlighten me?
I see through you, though something glimmers, hear
A twinkle, a hint, a blaze
But there's that sheen, a movie screen
And light enough to make a mixture
Crystalline?
Not clear. Enlighten me?"
On Reflection - On Trust, Betrayal and Rejection
You were always in the right -
Apparently,
"You lied.
And here years later, is all your poetry,
Which, on reflection,
I always thought was shite."
