Happy Memories

As I walk alone
All my memories flood back to me
As I think back I smile proud
Of all the things I have survived and been through
I have been standing upon the edge of the world
Unsure and scared of the world around me

Its been forever
Since I have cried from pain and sorrow
Now if I live or die I am happy
With the life that has been given to me

In the winter
I never spoke or thought of tears
I bloomed and opened up to the world around me
I would like to find a way
To be able to speak freely to you
But it has been a while
So I may not remember how

There must be a place for me
Somewhere that I belong
Someplace that I can call home
Will I always live this way
Now I stand upon the edge of the world
Looking up at the beautiful moon above me
I stand confident and unafraid
Of the challenges that tomorrow may bring

I have no regret
Because I have nothing to lose
So I am going to live my life as I chose
Until I fall stray again
But I now realise that
All things fall stray
And I am never alone and its never too late
