We are the ones who stand.
May it be for rights others feel deserve to demand?
The selfishness of a bank that turns to disease, when it is allowed to take all that it please.
We are the ones who cry.
May it be for loneliness of a one who will die?
Lost in world of pain where no man is allowed to return, even if a lost soul is still left there to burn
We are the ones who are weak.
May it be for the same language that hatred will speak?
After all we stand for a world with the word peace, war will rip the world and the universe will crease.
We are the ones who fall.
May it be for thoughts that hammer to a wall?
With stress and depression creating a timeless mass, we only have to stay calm for it to pass.
We are the ones who play.
May it be for the life of children today?
For the sake of others suffering we wear a glove, but when they truly want them we give them love.
We are the ones who sing.
May it be for the happiness it will bring?
Doubtful it so is, it may likely be true, waiting for a sudden sadness that I shall bring to you.
We are the ones who bleed
May it be for your own greed?
Taking everything you leave nothing behind, a dark heart so cruel you can’t help but be kind.
We are the ones who shout.
May it be for the reason this poem’s about?
With all the inequality of life’s togetherness and thought, be ready to remember what I’ve just taught.
We Are The Ones.
