Once a pondered time,
in a prime Mary school,
I was a joke-shop
finger-nailed fool.

Tall tales tolled
- and pig-tails pooled-
I hid in the queendom,
where sugar-spice ruled.

Love Hearts' messages
were written on a kiss,
I see-saw her knickers
and she told Miss.
