Virtual myths

What was once seen as virtue
Is now seen as weakness
No seed of good sense prospers
Old ways lost, their moral forgotten
And the earth without foundation
An exercise in Sinicism
Who knows where the truth lies
Not I
Who sells out?
Bathing in beans
An organism that is the toast of the town
Face to face with its own end
Where is the bite?
Life as a commodity
The jackboot of consumerism
Stamping down on a human face forever
Is big brother watching you?
Or are you watching big brother
The mechanism pulverised
The fight kicked out of a generation
Pantomime played out for kicks
Sincerity is dead
Long live the new flesh
Welcome to the videodrome!
The physical world forgotten
The passing of that age
Power plays from the over important
No way out for the dispossessed
A sale is a sale
And black is new black
The process of transformation in the death of form
Riding on the backs of the blue collars
They will just have to adjust
The smell of desperation from the robotic consumers
All the World Wide Web is a stage
A mesh of symbols in the round
No syntax for this new born
The act of observation, visceral but with no fore knowledge
This man was not born of a woman
Mac duff is waiting in the forest to slay our pride
Walking though the gallery and missing all the art
Oh yes, the rebellion is on stage
The mishmash of misdirection and simplicity
The play’s the thing, so what is actuality?
