I slide up along beside you
and my arm around your waist,
say, hun let's take a shortcut
let's quit this damn rat race.

One great step, out into space
the colour of your laughter
is the smile on your face
and it all seems worth it.

Unspoken yet I heard you
loud & cleary understood,
you wanting to comfort me
I know, if only you would.

i like the quit the rat race and step into space, often when i am tryinig to activate some guidance from my imagination I imagine myself floating just outside earth, I'll meet ya there some time if ya like. x will
