Tick follows tock follows tick.
But the moments between tick and tock,
They grow ever longer.
Seconds stretch to minutes,
Minutes to hours…
Each new day an eternity,
And I am become the immortal,
Told of in tales of old,
The man ever seeking but one thing,
An ending to this infinite existence.
Tick follows tock follows tick.
The sunset brings new hope,
For if the day can end,
If darkness can fall,
Perhaps mine eyes shall, in finality, close.
Tick follows tock follows tick…

When one of my friends died
When one of my friends died I said to my son that he had become a little star in the sky. My son thought about this for a few days and then reciprocated " He's just in a hole in the ground ". naked truth from a child ;)

You will if I will? I would really have to rack my brain and that could take years ;) No give it a go. I understand you not wanting to get too close to home. The pain is enough without the words isn't it?
Well- I saw a butterfly and I smelled the sweet scent of a flower- how's that for starter's? (with or without the apostrophe ?) ;)
