pink espadrilles my life
is summer in your eyes
hot tanned skin alive
in an August breeze
along the shores
of pretty shuttered
stone buildings and
well trodden steps
excitedly you shout
you call my name
but you will never
catch me, I am
a glossy picture
on the kitchen wall
a favourite daydream
that is all, a memory
