Christmas Without You (50’s Rock ‘n’ Roll style song)

We’ve got a star on the tree tonight;
it’s twinkling with colored fairy lights.
There’s snow flakes falling all around
and I can hear that gentle sleigh bell sound.
But there is something that is missing here;
a mistletoe but there’s no kissing here.
No one to cuddle; no one to hold
and, without you, this Christmas feels so cold.
The turkey’s cooking, it won’t take long.
The carol singers start to sing their songs.
The kids are snowball fighting in the street
and robin redbreasts going tweet-tweet-tweet.
But there is something that is missing here;
a mistletoe but there’s no kissing here.
No one to cuddle; no one to hold
and, without you, this Christmas feels so cold.
Bridge:
Shooby-doo-wah, doo-wah-doo-wah-doo-wah
Snow is falling, bells are ringing.
Shooby-doo-wah-doo-wah-doo-wah-doo-wah
Stars are shining, children singing.
Shooby-doo-wah, doo-wah-doo-wah-doo-wah
Merry Christmas, Happy New year!
Shooby-doo-wah, doo-wah-doo-wah-doo-wah
Merry Christmas, having you near!
Got Christmas presents, all wrapped up for you.
Got wine and chocolates, just enough for two.
So hurry home dear, ‘cause I’m waiting here
And Christmas is no fun without you near.
No one to cuddle; no one to hold
and, without you, this Christmas feels so cold.
No one to say a Merry Christmas to
So come home, make my Christmas wish come true.
