I saw a woman with a broken heart
and the tears rolling down her cheeks.
I asked her “Woman, what is wrong with you?”
but she couldn’t move her mouth to speak.
Yet the look in her eyes said everything;
it said everything about love;
about the sorrow and the heartache
like the sky falling down from above.
I saw a woman with a happy smile
and she was dancing all around.
I asked her "Woman, is your love worthwhile?”
but she did not make a sound.
Yet the look in her eyes said everything;
it said everything about love;
about the majesty and the beauty
like the stars shining bright up above.
