My love

My love likens itself to the vastness of the oceans, but when proven lays before me as a miniscule crustacean.
Every word that is spoken is a confession.
When I said pass the sugar, it was to tempt a caress, when I said I wished I could have, been the one that you spoke of, I invited elation.
My love, it lingers by all your bad habits and deeds, stammers its way through lies that are meant to stay so that we do not part.
Every battle that is lost, is flagged in my mind like a totem, Here we lay together in sin, and right there my pride facing southward from the sun is buried deep, dignity comes there no more...
My love always watched as we died, used and turned our own names into war implements, sharpened and hardened in the fires of the eery gloom of all our mistakes.
Every day without you aches emptily, where has all my feeling gone? I have no hands to reach and no heart to soar past this.
My love always awakens in me, all the wrong wants in all the wrong ways, they wash out over the bays of the vast oceans, those tell tale crustaceans.
Every beach is pebbled deep with them, every thought insiduous as I confess them, the lie, the love simultaneous.
My love was always there, even when I couldnt care.
Every thing good about us got lost then and I will miss it...
Always.
