Let's Start Again.
.
Being an alien from Planet Zod,
I'm here to push the button.
God has moved away, Christians have forgotten
how important it is to fight the war...
.
of good and evil, light versus dark.
The children of the night seeped in
scooped up the empty sack that once held
faith, belief, principles and morals.
,
There is no haste, no need to waste
the last few seconds. God made man:
Jesus interceded, prayed for forgiveness.
I tried, I begged, "Lord, Let's start again?"
.
For a moment there was hesitation, and a smile,
a gesture towards heaven, "The Lion," he said,
"Shall lie down with the Lamb. All arranged."
Riled I struggled for words, "Lord, which button?"
.
He pointed his lottery hand towards
the green blue globe, "The red one.
No matter how the numbers roll," he said,
"The chaff shall rise from the threshing floor."
.
So it's all over now - in this race,
this experiment in outer space.
The swarms will rise, the magic's gone.
The Lord has spoken; I'll push the button.
.
Kabooom!
Kabooom!
"That's good," God said, "78% water!
People of faith march forward!
Heaven is one mile ahead. Don't look down.
Appreciate! Inhale! It's Revelations!
Before long you'll see the Angels."
