Wolf-Boy

If a tree falls down in the forest, and no-one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?,
Like the school girl who sheds a single crystal tear, invisible amongst the crowded noise,
With the ripping of a branch; and the tumbling of a leaf against the sodden ground,
Did any body notice?, or even care? when she didn't return to her home in Illinois,
She had ran off into the forest, to meet the wolf boy.
The crescent earing dangles from her ear, in delightful anticipation,
Her forbidden love which has the power to destroy,
But her hands are clasped to his tender paw in compelled temptation.
The light is thinning through the trees, still the girl is nowhere to be found,
The translucent bodies against the dying sun,he turns to face her, seeks to share her joy,
The adventive charm of the lonesome hound,
Intertwined with the turbulent spirit of a troubled boy,
poor boy,scape goat, decoy.
The shadows edging nearer in exasperation,
Hearts beating wildly yet dare to make a sound, as they edge ever closer towards the ground.
She arches her neck, in willing damnation.
The silhouette rises, to reveal the fresh inflicted flesh wound,
In the twinkling of the moonlight, they lay as one fully shrouded in a love filled joy,
The newly married figures, through the exchange of blood, awaken to a sound,
There's a rustling occurring near the den's ground.
She crawls out on four paws into the condemning sun, a product of flirtation,
She sees a frame leaping closer and quickly turns around,
She's greeted by the forest animals, come to pay their respects, to the mutation.
It is time for her to be crowned,
With wolf- boy at her side, and a gathering congregation, she could jump for joy,
It seems that within this bestial society, her present is much more profound,
some may even say her true self has been found.
This is her salvation, at last, a liberation,
as the inquisitive animals surround,
Her new life begings, in the crowning moments, her animal form filling with a new found sensation.
Strangers footsteps echo along the forest path, the girl was never to be found,
Yet in the distance the shadowy form of a wolf approaches, a delicious sight to enjoy,
They came to the conclusion the girl must have drowned,
It was queer, to see a diamond tear perched upon the wolfs ear?, How the wolf did astound.
Her sharpened canine teeth perch amongst the lolling tongue tinged to the shade of carnation,
Her snout has been lovingly crafted to an aquiline point, lightly browned,
Displaying a glistening pelt of fur, she turns, running in youthful invigoration.
