It was love at first sight
Flowing mane
Chocolate brown eyes
Gleaming teeth
White coat, highly impractical
Already showing signs of wear
You were going round and round
Like me
But I could never catch up
Love is like that
It often goes around and around
And gets no where
You led me on a merry chase
But I knew I’d get you one day
Claim you, tame you
You would lift me up
Over and over again
My beautiful carousel pony
