Free Dom! I say he’s innocent,
That thing he did it wasn’t meant,
I know it was an accident,
Free Dom I say he will repent.
Free Dom! we call there was no crime,
He wasn’t there at all that time,
He never stole a single dime,
Free Dom! we say he’s in his prime.
Free Dom! the unheard cry goes out,
He’s not what crime is all about,
You cannot call that boy a lout,
Free Dom! you fools let’s call time out.
Free Dom! he says he’s going straight,
Don’t leave him to this lonely fate,
He’s had a lot upon his plate,
Free Dom! before it is too late.
But Dom is dead, hanged with his tie,
So look his Mother in the eye,
And tell her now the reason why,
You left young Dom alone to die.

I have read this a couple
I have read this a couple times. It made me recall the fiasco trial of " The Teflon Don "
When people cry "Freedom" I am often inclined to ask " Exactly what freedom are you referring to ? " lol
Enjoyed the read Hun :)

This is really good. I can read so much into it. At first it made me smile, but the ending was so poignant. it seemed to speak for all the injustice and freedom lost.
