GOD"S MANSION

You see a mansion, white-walled,
High-shining on a cliff;
Standing alone, so
Exquisitely built,
Intricately designed;
And ask
Who is the architect of these fair halls?
Where is the masterbuilder now?
No one knows
As the years pass,
For he is long gone.
*
We dwell on a planet - a pristine opal
Set in the claws of Time;
Hanging in curved space,
Flawlessly formed,
Breathtakingly beautiful;
And wonder:
Where is the designer of this damask sphere?
Why has he gone away?
No man knows,
Though aeons pass
He never has been seen.
*
But one day ......
He might come home.

But he has come, been seen,
But he has come, been seen, and before that he sent messages right down the ages, and he says he will return to complete the putting right of what we have spoiled! Rh
