The Prince And The Frogs

Once upon a time.......

There was a beautiful, optimistic creature, searching the lengths and breadth of the Kingdom for her Prince Of Frogs.
Jumping deep into the Forest Of Future Past and Present, she came across a curious fellow creature, sitting on a lily pad, drifting amongst the ripples of the murky waters surrounding.
This fascinating specimen resembled a simple pond frog...yet something urged this perceptive froglet to look beyond that craggy exterior and befriend this doe eyed amphibian.
She scooped him ever so gently out of the water and carried him so very carefully, as he seemed such a fragile creature, with a constant air of sadness about him.
Installed in her safe haven of tranquility, coaxed and nurtured , the frog began to blossom and shed his craggy exterior to reveal the Prince like qualities she knew she had perceived on first sighting.
All seemed to be swimmingly glorious in that green and pleasant land...then one fine day, an ancient friend of the still tentative Prince turned up and urged the little fellow to accompany her back to old habits and a life they had once shared amongst the lily pads and weeds of pond life.
Allowing his conscience to get the better of him, for old times sake, he said his sad goodbyes to his froglet and left the treasure trove he had grown to love, back to unknown waters....He looked upon this move as his own personal quest for True Love!!
Would he forever languish in the surroundings of his old life and feel safe or would he miss the newfound pleasures and transformation of the life his caring and sharing froglet had allowed him to experience?
Only time and inner certainty of himself will tell......
The heartbroken, disillusioned froglet must now go back to The Forest Of Future and explore unfamiliar surroundings...maybe she will stumble across yet another craggy, curious creature sitting on a lily pad, floating helplessly around a rippling pond.
Wherever and however her curiosity unfolds, should that unique Prince Of Frogs left to ponder his way forward, trying to alleviate guilt by reliving a past life, return in search of future.....The beautiful froglet has made a sacred vow of certainty that she would relinquish her "Frog Of The Moment" for "The Prince Of Her Dreams"
