Love In The Stars

Sitting out under the night sky with the stars above me brings my soul peace, giving me the tranquillity that allows me to think. The phases of the moon mirrors my heart's reflections. My thoughts begin to shine through by built up defences like a newly formed star.

Thoughts of being free, able to choose the course of my own path in life. Thoughts of finding a love that is never ending like the universe. Thoughts of being true to myself and never forgetting who I am.

I am a strong person who is independent but who craves and longs. I need someone to hold my hand as my heart lifts into the air and becomes one with the world.

Do I dare to dream? Do I dare to open my heart and feelings to the people of the earth, waiting for the right person to guide me?

To find true love, a person must be able to love another unconditionally. I must love my other with a clear and open mind, never changing who I am but more comfortable with what I am.

I need a lover who respects and loves me. A lover I can trust with all my heart. Someone to guide me through life holding my hand and never letting go even through the hard times.

And how do I begin to be a great lover in return? All I have to give is my love, time and respect. My heart will belong to my lover, my soul entwined with his. And I will be a comforter in his darkest night and offer myself to him.

Love needs to explode like a shooting star making it's way through the universe. Love shines through the deepest dark reminding me, my lover and all others that no matter how bleak life may be, love can conquer all.
