What becomes of the rebellion
if the rebels are no more?
What happens to the message
if the voice is old and poor?
Where do all the good songs go
if there’s no one left to sing ‘em?
Who will sound the blessed bells
if no one’s left to ring ‘em?
How will the kids take a stand
if the guiding hands are gone?
How does anything ever get done
if all we do is moan?
Who will start a new tirade?
Who will kick against the pricks?
Who will watch the crooked watchers?
Who will take to the bulls with a stick?
If ever there was a time
then the time must now be ripe;
there is no one else to beat or blame
so take action but please, don’t gripe.

I have just 'happened' upon this one, Dynamaso. Many a true word is spoken in a poem...never more so than here, I feel.
