Sometimes
I believe I am still your thoughts
That my eyes and their image disturb your dreams
That you listen to my voice with the rattle of windchimes
That the emptiness of your sheets is paining your soul
We loved each other madly
Yes
We were mad and in love
The Parisian night hid our tender moments
Soft
They remained there
To be repeated by endless lovers
I see your face when I am writing
But mostly
When a bake a pie
And although I can’t get fresh strawberries until winter
Frozen berries taste only of ice
Like your fading memory
Like your kiss upon my lips
When I think of you
Sometimes
