The Summer sets as does the sun;
sky turns to crimson; leaves to gold
but time, round in a circle, runs;
all will be young that now grows old.
Fear not the darkness or the cold;
the journey towards June’s begun
and Autumn’s spell, that now takes hold,
by kiss of Spring, shall be undone.

Thank you Well-wisher. I am not really looking much forward to winter and the cold but this poem helped cheer me up!

Made me shudder at the thought well-wisher, but very nicely done. Just as long as it needs to be. I could see a hare running over the fields with a crown of holly around her girth.

This is almost a spell in itself, well-wisher - it has the driving rhythm of a chant and has held me enchanted. Well done on the cherries!
