Marybel was twenty five. She loved freedom, storms. Ask her what was missing from her life, what she lacked that would make her truly happy, and when she finished laughing she'd say, a plastic bucket filling with rain, white waves swarming over a pier at night, the view from a high-rise window being eaten away by clouds of dust.
