I Need Better Words.

Someone once told me that the last person you think about
Before you fall asleep
Is the one you’re in love with.
I don’t know if that’s true or not.
I’ve tried to define Love before, in words, you know,
And maybe I’ve even come close a few times.
But lately, all that comes to mind
Is the way your voice frays at the edges
When you speak to me from your heart.
