Under A Blood Moon

Dusky maiden under blood moon,
hearing your whisper radiate...
like an angel you wing unnoticed,
but for my vivid perception you
were invisible across the earth,
feeling all emotions scatter
I watch your passions rising,
incantations seduce my senses,
for you are no charlatan or phantom,
Inspiration comes...passed down
the generations of your ancestral bonds,
connecting with gaia this natural earth.
The crone who once perceived her youth,
casts smoky shadows to the corner of my eye,
her wisdom like a flower once in bloom so vibrant,
to wed in matrimony a pythoness vow,
a crown coiled from ivy for everlasting life,
hands locked...wrists bound as one,
setting the scene a lifetime of promises,
her unborn child left to connect,
now like the twinkling of the stars
the child's eyes gaze in wonder...
consuming the blessings bestowed
upon the vine...by candlelight
in the summerhouse she gathers fruit,
a winter's store giving thanks to Mother Earth.
