Sometimes I lay awake and cry
The ways you have hurt me are just so sly
Unfair and nasty to say the least
Now finally I see the beast
That you have hidden so carefully from me
But all of a sudden this hatred I see
False pretence it was all along
I’m really, truly not as strong
As all those hurtful nasty words
You use against me, it’s so absurd
That I could believe you desperately wanted
I felt so tracked and hunted
Now I have gone
I will spread my wings like swan
Even though it hurts like hell
The pain will go after I fell
Madly in love for the first and the last
Time will heal, it has almost past.
