Mid life now.
Listening to the first album I ever bought.
'Snap, Cackle, Pop.'

Forced to become a teacher 'cos I couldn't play piano like their keyboard player, you know, the guy who wore sunglasses even in Ronnie's basement at 3 A M.
First girlfriend hated them, only made me like them even more. I loved -love- her with magnanimity though we broke up before the band did: musical differences.

What was their first and only single? I remember - ' Love makes sweet music' reached 99 in the Melody Maker 100 . Cool, wouldn't want a sell out would we, man?

Got F-ed up, Funked Up that is , in 1978 I think it was. Same as me, we all did, no disgrace in that.

Must have been the 90s before I regained the groove, different girl, different times.

June it was, the month; evening classes in the windowless hall. Funny, guy there , one of those people you can't make out how old they are, waltzes in, dances to his own tune.
Never takes his sunglasses off all evening.
