souls should not fly solo
in two voices they should sing
alone, it's just a cry for help
in unison ? they sing

the song's not fully realized
if birds have just one wing
souls should not fly solo
would you like to help me sing ?

hearts should not be heartless
there's no rhythm to that beat
alone, it's just a broken drum
in unison ? complete

there is no true percussion
if your life's a one way street
hearts should not be heartless
would you complement my beat ?

minds must be reminded
not to trust a single thought
alone, there is no give and take
in unison ? it's brought

you can't complete the lesson
if the two halves are not taught
minds must be reminded
would you give me food for thought ?

Nice Alvin. Really like the theme and the style. Do you sing any of these? There's such natural rhythm in them.

I might have asked you that before. Sorry. :-) Me too. I intentionally fight it a lot of the time, but the things that work best use it. I try to let it out singing and playing guitar (badly).
