New Forest Ponies

New Forest ponies are very lovely that is for sure
They are definitely not a bore!

However please do not feed them your picnic
not unless you want to make them sick
Or have to beat them off with a stick

New Forest ponies are very slick
but they can give a mighty kick
And end up wanting everyone's picnic

So please do not feed them
if you want to keep this gem
in the New Forest Park
and let them make their mark

Hi Deb, I thought this was a lovely little poem and the variation in stanzas made it interesting and it all flowed well. I love the New Forest and the ponies and luckily I don’t live too far away from it all. Much enjoyed. Thumbs up to you. Well done. Trev
