Her only words,
the song of birds
yet I’m convinced the Spring is right.

She does not preach
but strives to teach
and civilize my heart with light.

Her gentle flowers
have greater power
to spread her faith than fire or sword.

Her many treasures;
her joys and pleasures
as bright as heavenly rewards.

Thanks for your comment, Verdana. Yes I agree. Often when that small part of nature, Human Nature makes me feel glum; the rest of this wide Earth and that starry vastness up in space remind me that there is so much in life to feel happy about. I can't understand why anyone would want to wage another war or drill another oil well who really could see the beauty of this world.
