so very hard to sleep
when darkness tries to hold me down
it's like a cloak of mystery
enveloping the town
.
the night will soon dissolve
with bursts of sunlight to begin
an impossibly kept promise
and the world is right sgain
.
so very freezing cold
when all the snow is piled on high
it seems like time is frozen
and the future is a lie
.
then winter turns the page
and soon the springtime will begin
an impossibly kept promise
and the world is right again
.
my life is incomplete
with you and i so far apart
i feel i'm barely living
for i use just half my heart
.
i'll be back by your side
and your affection i will win
an impossibly kept promise
and our world is right again
