There’s a certain joy, a satisfaction,
In words, text, nothing spoken.
A rhythm a flow even profanity
Has place and meaning…a glow
Between the lines the harshness
Is spoken, translated parables
Define the moment.
crystalised thoughts...
yes I'm certainly enjoying this evening...
I started with a cry to be heard
Like an infant born…said please be gentle
Your deaf ears mourned…rose from
My back and onto my knees,
Said I forgive you and begged for the same
The futility of endeavouring through
These infant years…caused me to rise up
Stand on my own two feet.
My ambition drowned my hope all gone
Still I endeavour rise up and carry on.
new enemies to duel, new territory to be won
new ground to be developed
do all before the setting sun.
Silence whispers my name to me now
The mirror in my hall forgets my shape
Family who once I adored
Are no more than people on a one way street
I can’t go back, remember the times you called the police.
So I’m careful now and keep my text
Grown out of insanity, I know my place.
A fitting rebuke is all I gave.
Dad rest in peace.
Why are vultures shitting on your grave?
