My mums smile which shone brighter than the sun.

Your Smile Shone brighter than any Sun,
I couldn't have wished for a better mum.

You were the centre of my world,
The Sea that forever swirls.

Why you were taken and became so sickly,
Is beyond us all, you should have never gone so quickly.

You brought me up when I was down,
and we, in turn, lifted your displeasing frown.

Everyone loves you, but that's nothing new to you,
You were everyones shining star, that too's nothing new.

You were so unwell for a very long time,
But you took everything on in stride with a smile so fine.

I remember a time when we walked to to Sainsbury's Hand in hand,
and by you side we would stand.

I remeber when we met Dawn French together,
At that time, i thought we'd have our mum forever.

Before you got so poorly, you had the fight of several men,
Maybe more, probably more than ten.

Unfortunately you lost your fight to MS,
But you gave it your best shot, you really did your best.

We love you mum, on Earth and in Heaven,
It's just sad we didn't get to see you after our four day trip to Devon.

We weren't there by your side,
At the most important time before you died.

Apparently you were still smiling thoough, a smile so bright like the sun,
Now shining down on us all, every beating ray, my one and only mum.

Now you are watching over and guarding us, your children,
This is the life I will protect, the life which loved you, in return for the life you had given.
