The Coolest Dude in the World

“Please listen to me, just listen to me

I once loved you!”  We all heard her say

but you, the coolest dude in all the world

stood up, smirked, then just walked away

it seems that you can’t handle basic facts

your emotions force her always to be on guard

you justify yourself and then you just deny

your abusive nature, behind your too cool façade

while you heartlessly ransom all her needs

training her to plead for reasons for her pain

are you happy now that you have broken her

isn't  your controlling style really cool

the way it puts her down over and over again!

Now only intervention can be her real saviour

to remove the influence of the things that you do

and then perhaps in time, you’ll learn to understand...

the significance of her words; “I once loved you!”
