Unto the depths,unto the deep,
Taking me further till I'm asleep.
Slumbering gladness turns into madness,
This is not where I want to be.
Swirling & twirling, voices converging,
The deepening darkness, pervading with fastness.
A creeping coldness is merging with me,
This is not where I want to be.
Pulling me down, taking me under,
Fighting the feeling that it is stealing.
Strength is fading and I am hating.
This is not where I want to be.
Close to the end, life will not lend,
The breath that I desperately need.
This is not what I thought and not what was taught.
This is not where I want to be.
