Santa's Lament

When Santa got stuck up the chimney,
said Rudolph, ‘It’s no big surprise.
He’s been stuffing his face with roast turkey
and his pockets with countless mince pies!’
His sledge came to rest on a rooftop,
then somehow he’d shinned up the stack
and managed to squeeze down the chimney,
but was caught like a rat in a trap.
The commotion awoke the whole family –
the kerfuffle and hullabaloo.
“Quick! Santa’s got stuck up the chimney!
Whatever shall all of us do?”
Then, swift, to the rescue came Grandma,
with a flu-brush of quite ample size,
but Santa went crackers as it met with his knackers,
which don’t half bring the tears to one’s eyes!

Very mischievous and neat! Reminded me of Pooh bear — I think he had to stay stuck in the doorway unitl he slimmed a bit didn't he?, and Rabbit hung her washing on his legs??
