Another beautiful poem. I am hoping and believing that people I've lost far too young can carry on in heaven the things they left unfinished or untried. Happy New Year to you Tina and a million blessings.

Exquisite Tina, exquisite.
Exquisite Tina, exquisite. Your talent, eloquence and ability to touch other's hearts resounds in this piece... I don't think many of us can explain those tears that overflow from our hearts when our souls journey beyond ourselves in tune with the context of ourselves, the crafted words, the soul-sharing... those tears are appreciation and awesomeness in themselves, wonderful beyond words.
THANK-YOU :-)

As usual you have a knack of
As usual you have a knack of filling in delightful little details, like how she saved for that grand piano, and the different ways people understand verse, sometimes affected, but unable to analyse or explain which part or how. And the bit about the leaf being held in suspension as you write about it …
And the last stanza is moving.
warm regards, Rhiannon

Hello Tina. Not easy to
Hello Tina. Not easy to comment on a poem of this depth. I was going to play it safe and stick to praising its technicalities but sod it.
This is an immensely affecting piece of poetry and your ability to put these together without ever falling into the realms of sentimentality never fails to amaze me. 'Poetry as code' she said did she? With a turn of poetic phrase like that she could only have been your daughter.
I wish that it were different and that you still had her. I believe that only those who have first hand experience can understand what you feel, I pray to God or whatever there is that I never find out.
I hope that the new year is kind.

Beyond the obvious beauty of
Beyond the obvious beauty of this piece, in trying to comprehend and contextualise pain I simply can't, I was thinking about how powerfully you sustain your daughter's memory in your own code as a matter of course. You make sure that your daughter's 'unread stanza' is read about in the most beautiful way you know how to. Thinking of you lots, Tina.
