Place your age in a basket
‘cause there ain’t no more space
to use --- you’ve
already gathered up your share.
I’ve seen sunshine and rain
from early shine
to a slumbering mood
yolk of sun trying to change my mind
but reality drops in
staying well beyond its due --
kids growing and grown up
memories just a photo shop blur
my body with aches and pains
still loving you.

Hi Richard,
It's nice to know love can survive, even into old age. Those special memories that you hold dear can last a life time.
Really enjoyed reading this poem.
Jenny.
