found an anthem today

on the internet a perfect tune on replay

on repeat the mood is set for the day

to the bar we go,banter as foreplay

too many drinks in me again,a huge ego to feed

tried to find another excuse,but its just greed

now I find myself staring into some vomit,

cleaned up,back to my seat

get up,another round,down that pit

I like this vision of a dark place. When I read out loud it feels more fluid without the "I commit" and the second "again" in the last line. Nice piece. Like it.

I scribbled this one on a whim as all my writings are written actually.I would like to tinker with this piece but  lately am staring at this bottomless pit of a writers block dearth of any fruitful thoughts or inspiration..Thanks anyways man.cheers.
