A wolf that wears a fleece,
a raven painted white –
neither will ever cease
the weak to hunt and bite.
It would be quite absurd
to think a wolf a sheep,
like painting white a bird
could change its nature deep.
Hypocrisy, a mask,
will slip before too long;
too hard for us the task –
deep change needs Someone strong.
Reaching the very core,
to teach a heart to love:
devourer before
has now become a dove.

I like the way this turns so
I like the way this turns so subtly to deliver the message at the end.

Hi Rhiannon
Hi Rhiannon
You do seem to turn anything and everything into poetry. You have a real gift.
