High above the ocean,
sea swells in motion
– rounding smooth crags,
pounding rock snags
of splintering rocks
splitting the surge,
tossing away
into mist and spray:
the roar and the splash
and the winds that lash
echoing up to the walking ground
a rumbling humbling sound.

Hi Rhiannon
Hi Rhiannon
The meter of the poem echoes the sounds of the sea. Lovely.

Loving this...
The rhythm, rhyme, assonance and alliteration all tittilate the tongue and mould the ocean sound so well :-)
