It's deep. Elemental

Deeper than I ever knew

Startled, I realise

how far inside it lies

How real it is

and question what we're doing

Will this madness bring us freedom

Will it lead us to our dreams

or be our ruin

Madness always seems to lead to a type of freedom but in my experience no order ever comes from Chaos, though sometimes it's easy to convince yourself it might. 

"You will know the truth - and the truth will set you free". 

 

Great poem - made me think a lot and muse on this subject as you can see. Something we all hope for I think when we write a poem.

The beat of your heart is the mellifluent rhythm to my soul.
