Fishing Trip

Fading city lights, we go out to ride
Wind has turned to wind, the sun is going down
Drifting in the sea, we go out to see
If we can catch some fish on this fishing trip
We will call it hip
Stars are showing light as beacons in the sky
A moon is on the rise and we sit there to sigh
Waves will take us out and we don’t row the boat
We have got no oars and engine running low
Darkness on the flow
Cool out in the seas, breathing in a breeze
Live it on board, line and hook fishing trip
Do as you may please, turn on some degrees
Live it on board, line and hook fishing trip
Big boat passing by, wave them hi-five
We can’t care for now to hit it in the bow
Stay clear of the reef, moonlight on a creep
Breaking line of crests marking all the rocks
We can have a drink
He who baits the fish big to fill the dish
Takes his hands for good and rest will cook the food
But who is into this when all are in the mix
Serving hot coffee and smoking all the fish
Here we go on chips
Cool out in the seas, breathing in a breeze
Live it on board, line and hook fishing trip
Do as you may please, turn on some degrees
Live it on board, line and hook fishing trip
Cool out in the seas, breathing in a breeze
Live it on board, line and hook fishing trip
Live it on board, line and hook fishing trip
Live it on board, line and hook fishing trip

Atmospheric and compelling;
Atmospheric and compelling; the repitition wonderfully effective, culminating in the last three lines creating a virtual wavelike effect. Absolutely brilliant. Well done on the cherries.
