Worth The Wait

Many months ago you took my peace and strolled

Out of my life but never out of my heart

I couldn't let you go

I always knew you would come back 

I missed you like crazy

I hope you know that

All of the tears I cried from my eyes

All of the nights I lied that I was fine 

Have led up to this day 

Those tears and lies were worth the wait 

It was nice having you talk to me 

It felt like a dream and not reality 

My best friend was finally in front of my eyes 

Looking back now I wouldn't change a single thing about that night   

Except wishing we had more time
