Once upon a time, on the purple planet of Peep, in a silver dome, lived Simon, a friendly spaceman with his robot cat Kay.
And, one day, Simon was in his space garden with his cat Kay planting flowers; digging a little hole in the purple soil with his space trowel, planting a seed, covering it over and watering it with his silver space watering can.
But the seeds that Simon was planting weren't like ordinary seeds; they were seeds of instant, quick growing flowers.
As soon as Simon sprinkled water upon them with his watering can, suddenly, up from under the ground popped 3 large golden space roses; 3 silver space lillies and 3 bronze coloured space orchids, all glittering bright.
"There now", said Simon, to Kay, "Aren't they lovely?".
"Miaow-bleep-bleep", his robot cat replied, which in Robot Cat speak, means, "Yes they are".
But then, suddenly, Simon heard a voice coming from the space communicator in his silver dome.
"Help!", said the voice, "Somebody please help!".
Running inside, followed by his cat kay, Simon looked at the big screen of the communicator and saw the face of a young woman wearing a crown upon her head.
"Oh thank goodness", said the woman, seeing Simon, "Thank goodness someone got my distress call. Please you have to help me. My name is Princess Starlight and I've been locked in a tower by a terrible space wizard. Its at space co-ordinates 7, 8, 9".
"7, 8, 9", said Simon, recognising the co-ordinates, "Thats near the edge of the purple forest".
"Yes", said the princess, "Please you have to come quickly before the wizard gets back".
"Don't worry, Princess", said Simon, "I'm on my way".
Then, rushing out of his silver dome, followed by his cat Kay, and into his space garage he and kay got into the front seats of his space buggy and, after pressing the fasten seatbelt button that automatically strapped them both in, Simon pressed the big red ignition button that started the space buggies whirring engine and drove off to save the space princess.
And it wasn't long before they reached the edge of the purple forest and Simon saw the princess standing at the window of a tall silver tower.
"Don't worry princess", said Simon, pushing the seatbelt unlock button and leaping out his space buggy before running over to the tower, followed by his cat Kay, "I'll get you out of that tower somehow".
"Well, please think of something, quickly", said the Princess, "Because the Wizard will be back soon".
So Simon tried to think of how to save the Princess from the tower; he even switched on the brain booster in his helmet to make him smarter so that he would think of an idea quicker but, even with the brain boosters help, he just couldn't think what to do.
But then, suddenly, his cat Kay said, "Miaow! Bleep, bleep".
"Good idea, Kay", said Simon, reaching into the pocket of his space suit and taking out a handful of space seeds, "I can use one of these space seeds to grow a flower that will reach up to the window of the tower and then the princess can climb down it".
And then, pressing one of the space seeds into the ground at the foot of the tower, Simon watered it with some water from the bottle he always carried on his space suit.
Instantly, a golden sunflower burst up from the ground, spreading its shimmering petals open wide and it grew and it grew until it was even taller than the tower.
"There", said Simon to the Princess, "Now you can climb down the stem of the flower".
And so the princess, grabbing hold of the stem of the giant sunflower, climbed onto it and then she started to climb down it which wasn't too difficult because its giant golden petals were shaped just like stairs.
But then, with Simons cat Kay sitting in the back, he and the princess got into the front seats of his space buggy and they drove off back to his silver dome and then, using his instant food machine, Simon made the princess a Space sandwich and a cup of sparkling space-fruit juice.
But then, while she was enjoying her lunch, Simon asked her about the Wizard and the Tower.
"Why did the space Wizard want to lock you in the tower, anyway?", he asked.
"Because I have the power to turn anything to chocolate", said the princess, "Just using my mind and the Wizard loves chocolate".
Just then, however, from outside Simons silver dome, he heard a loud voice speaking.
"Return the princess", it was saying, "Or I will blast your silver dome to pieces with my lightning ray".
And, running outside and looking up, Simon saw the silver tower of the space Wizard, only it wasn't a tower, it was a long space rocket that was floating in the sky and down from it the wizard was raining bolts of lightning like the kind you get during a thunderstorm.
"Oh dear", said Simon, "I'll have to use my Rainbow ray".
And, taking his Rainbow ray gun from his belt and aiming it at the Wizards space rocket, he pressed its trigger and a bright rainbow coloured beam came out of it that, with a zapping noise, struck the side of the space rocket.
But the Wizard just laughed.
"Ha!", he said, "That won't do you any good. My space rocket is rainbow-ray proof".
Simon, shook his head.
"If I can't use my Rainbow Ray then I don't know what I'll do", he said.
But, just then, Simon remembered something that Princess Starlight had said.
"Princess", Simon asked her, "You said that you could turn anything to chocolate with your mind. Can you turn the Wizards space rocket into chocolate?".
"Hmm?", replied the Princess, "I don't know but I could try".
Then, closing her eyes, the Princess started to concentate and, when she did, the star upon her crown began to light up with a bright pink glow.
Then, looking up at the Space rocket of the Wizard, Simon saw it turn a dark brown colour just like a bar of chocolate.
"Oh no!", he heard the Wizard say.
But then, aiming his Rainbow-ray gun at the chocolate space rocket, Simon pressed its trigger and, this time, when a bright rainbow coloured beam shot out of the gun and struck the side of the space-rocket, the rocket began to melt.
"Help!", shouted the Wizard, "My space rocket is melting".
But then Simon saw the space wizard take off his pointy wizards hat and, reaching into it, pull out a rocket pack and then, strapping the rocket pack to his back, the space wizard flew out of an escape hatch in his melting space rocket.
"But I'll be back one day", said the Wizard, as he zoomed away, "And I'll get my chocolate".
"Thank goodness that wizard is gone", said Princess Starlight, "He was horrible".
"Yes", agreed Simon but then, picking up a piece of wreckage from the Wizards chocolate space rocket and eating it, he added, "But, even so, his space rocket is delicious".
