Fiddle back, each dining chair
scarred by individual score
through time and play,
their music could be reclaimed,
gain a stay from charity’s call.
I could develop a fashionable
discourse with wood
Hug a tree at home.
Give texture and glaze
to plenty my days,
represent appetite re-awakened,
in chosen stains on sanded grain,
claim harmony, where there is none.

I love this! We had a story about a bed the other day, and now this poem to a chair - I think I might have found this week's Inspiration Point!

Great work, brilliant diction
Great work, brilliant diction and economy of words, reflects the subject well. 'I could develop a fashionable discourse with wood' is an ace line
