Smaller and smaller
walking away
yellow dress blowing freely
in the wind
You said – (my mama)
that dignity is not to be found in fear.
Words that left me torn
the want to cry
for the face that I knew so well
now mingling, lost deeply in the crowd.
With your every step taken
lips
biting on words that must never
be spoken
for I am small – I am nothing
I have no wish to live here
but please
just let me live...
